With another weekend of misery handed to Leeds United following their 3-1 defeat on the road at Nottingham Forest, the question now on many people's lips is - how much more time should Daniel Farke have? 11 games into the season, Leeds sit 16th in the league, recording double the amount of losses than wins and only one point above the drop zone.
Farke joined Leeds in July of 2023, finishing 3rd in his first season back in the Championship and then emerging as champions on the final day away at Plymouth Argyle in his second. He now finds himself struggling once again in the top flight, despite making multiple improvements all over the pitch. The German has not been afraid to spend in the summer, spending considerable amounts on players like Anton Stach, Jaka Bijol and Noah Okafor, all who have failed to impress so far.
Leeds approach a tough run of games after the international break. Nottingham Forest was seen as a place where points where needed to be picked up, and the team failed to do so, outperformed in all areas of the pitch, lacking fluidity, creativity and any form of defensive awareness.
The club's current state can only leave Farke fighting for his future at Elland Road, and will need to show some major improvements after the international place to regain his trust from the fanbase and the board.
